Since April this year, Changan Qiyuan Q05 has recorded monthly sales above 10,000 units for six straight months, peaking at nearly 19,000 units in June and July. It maintained robust demand in September with domestic sales hitting 18,043 units, retaining its crown as the best-selling compact SUV.
The model has delivered steady performance 10 months after launch and throughout the first half year. Its global sales broke 30,000 units in September. Domestic cumulative sales in the past six months reached 104,939 units, claiming the title of the best-selling compact SUV and becoming the fastest-growing model in this segment. It has achieved steady growth from hot launch to sustained market leadership.

The outstanding sales performance is backed by its product advantages: full CATL batteries, smart features and large cabin space. As a premium urban global electric SUV, Changan Qiyuan Q05 measures 4435×1855×1600mm with a wheelbase of 2735mm, offering generous interior space. When rear seats are folded down, the trunk capacity expands to 1,380 liters. It delivers a CLTC pure electric range of 506 km with ultra-low power consumption of 10 km per kWh, cutting travel costs and easing range anxiety for worry-free commutes. The vehicle is equipped with CATL battery cells across all trims and the Golden Bell Shield 2.0 3C fast-charging battery pack. It only takes 15 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%, and a 5-minute charge adds 120 km of range for convenient recharging. Updated In-Cabin Experience via OTA Upgrade
To optimize user experience in high-frequency scenarios, Changan Qiyuan Q05 will roll out an OTA upgrade for in-cabin entertainment and connectivity. The update can be downloaded over the air without visiting service centers. This OTA adds QQ Music to the infotainment system, granting access to massive music libraries and high-quality audio for daily commutes and long trips. Apple CarPlay is also supported, allowing iPhone users to project navigation, music, calls and other mobile apps onto the vehicle screen for smoother cabin connectivity.

While enjoying booming domestic sales, Changan Qiyuan Q05 is steadily expanding overseas. It launched in Thailand on May 28, entered Indonesia in August, and debuted in Colombia on August 30.
